Enough of the aluminum has arrived at YachtSmiths to commence building.  The lower halves of the first frames have been welded to an I-beam.

Russel Metals

Posted by: admin    in Building Tesha

Russel Metals is cutting the 1/4″ and 3/4″ plates today and apparently the 1/2″ inch parts should show up today at YachtSmiths!  Would have been nice to get the 3/4″ inch stuff today.  The keel plates are in that load.  :)    Worked on the companionway hatch frames.

Cut Files

Posted by: admin    in Building Tesha

The cut files have been completed by Michael and are being reviewed by YachtSmiths.   Hopefully, in the next week or two, Russel metals will start cutting some aluminum.  Finished the test hatch I had been building.

I’ve rented a storage near the room I’m renting to starting building the mahogany deck pieces.  No power, no lights, no heat.
