Ross came over to practice making grab rails.

Tacking welding continues on the frame. The side and deck plates are also being tack welded into place to help keep alignment. Stringers are going in. The rear mast step has been welded to the keel.

Ross, my brother came out to help this weekend. We ended up at Elliot’s wood shop below his house most of Saturday morning, planning boards for the hatch tops. I also got all the edges rabbeted for hatch A.  Took 4 batteries for the router.

Deck welding has started as well as the cap rails. Everything seems to be in alignment and I’m extremely happy with the progress that Yachsmiths and Brian’s crew has made thus far.
Had some help today. Amy came out and sealed the hatch plywood. We also cut all the mahogany slates for the hatch tops.

Most of the upper frames have been welded in and the longitudals (stringers) are starting up the sides.
