Amy came out to the shed and helped me get the tops screwed down on the second hatch. ahh, the end is near for the hatches. Ross gave me the new improved ‘Hatchet and Hammer’ Tesha Logo. Dude. It is so cool.

Finally got some more sealant, so I started working on the hatches again. Sure is taking a long time. Wish I had more than two hours at a time to work on it.

Split the aft hand rails and beveled their feet. Ross also laid out his build t-shirt design. Will post it soon!

Got some more photos today showing the bottom almost completely tacked. Also, the port bulwark is in place as well as the foredeck hatch house.

Ross and I started the aft cabintop rails and the interior hatch hand rails.

Amy cut plugs. I finished off the ones I put in yesterday.

Didn’t have enough sealant to continue with hatch tops, but I did manage to plug all the holes with mahogany plugs I cut.

Yachtsmiths is starting the ‘finish welds’ on the forward part of the keel. Work continues on the bottom plates.

Started laying down the hatch tops. Got half way through one top.
