Masts are going together
Ryan got the engineroom walls fiberglassed and will wait for Scott to raise the engine room ceiling, it needs to go up just a hair to allow for the engineroom doors to close. Ryan went back to working on the masts, joining the 20′ sections together. The sleave idea that I drew out and posted a few weeks ago did not work. When Ryan split the pipe, it unrolled, go figure. Therefore, he got some 8″ side diameter pipe that slide right in. He tap about 40 holes into the sleave and then filled them. It is a bit of a process and I believe he only got one done. 3 more to go! I am very eager to see the masts!
Amy and I worked on the dingy again (no Tesha work to do at the moment). We glued on the second planks. I had been fitting them for two weeks, and called in Amy for the glue job. She does so much better with the epoxy than I do. She tells me it is like icing a cake. Yeah!
